    Gunnar Kleveland

    President and Chief Executive Officer

    Gunnar Kleveland, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined the Company in 2023. He has served the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer since September 2023. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Kleveland served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. He also served as the President of TRU Simulation + Training Inc. and Executive Vice President of Integrated Operations for Bell Helicopter Textron inc. Prior to joining Textron in 2004, Mr. Kleveland was a fighter pilot in the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) and finished his 15-year career in the air force as the Chief of Flight Safety. Age 55.

    Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

    Joseph M. Gaug, Senior Vice President - General Counsel and Secretary, joined the Company in 2004. Mr. Gaug has served the Company as Vice President- Secretary and General Counsel since May 2020. He previously served as Associate General Counsel from 2004 and as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary from 2006 to May 2020. Prior to 2004 he was a principal at McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, PC. Age 61.

    Suzanne Purdum

    Chief Human Resources Officer

    Suzanne Purdum, Chief Human Resources Officer, joined the company in 2024. Suzanne brings more than 25 years of experience in a number of HR disciplines including development and execution of HR strategy, organization design and effectiveness, learning and development, talent management, employee and labor relations, change management, and compensation and benefits. She is an experienced HR leader and business professional who has held executive level positions in Business Partnering, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition at a global level for large US multinational companies. Most recently, Suzanne served as the Senior Executive Director for Boeing Global Human Resources – Europe, Israel and Ukraine. Prior to this role, Suzanne has held multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Boeing, TRU Simulation + Training, Bell Helicopter, and Textron. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Commerce in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Certificate in Labor Relations from the University of Rhode Island, a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Management from Northeastern University, and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Age 56.

    Will Station

    Chief Financial Officer

    Will Station, Chief Financial Officer, joined the company in 2025. Will brings over 20 years of experience in both financial strategy and operational leadership in the aerospace and medical industries. Throughout his distinguished career, Will has consistently delivered results by refining organizational processes, identifying new financial opportunities, and driving operational efficiencies. Will has a deep understanding of financial intricacies and business process improvement that empowers teams to excel. Most recently, Will served as Senior Vice President of Primary Care Sales for McKesson Medical-Surgical, a McKesson Corporation subsidiary, leading a team of more than 1,200 account executives and specialists supporting primary care physicians, ambulatory surgery centers, as well as community hospitals and laboratories. Prior to that, he was the subsidiary’s Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance. Will’s career also includes 16 years at The Boeing Company, where he held a number of increasingly senior finance roles, notably Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Commercial Derivatives Airplanes and Director of Financial Operations for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). Will earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and an Executive MBA degree with an emphasis in international business from St. Louis University. Age 50.

    Merle Stein

    President, Machine Clothing

    Merle Stein, President – Machine Clothing, joined the company in 2011. He has considerable experience in the paper and pulp industries and significant knowledge of the Machine Clothing business and a strategic understanding of the markets it serves. He comes to the role with considerably broad leadership experiences, particularly in operational and customer-facing operations. Since April 2024 he has served as Division Chief Operating Officer for the business segment where he oversaw all operational aspects of the business and led the Sales & Marketing, Operations, Procurement and Human Resources functions. Prior to that, since 2022 he was the Vice President Sales & Marketing/Applications for Americas, after having served in various other sales and marketing leadership roles since joining the Company, including Vice President Sales MC - North America, Regional Business Director and Sales & Service Engineer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Stein managed papermaking operations at Essity’s green field papermill in Alabama where he had risen to the position of Papermill Manager. Mr. Stein holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from Auburn University. Age 48.

    Christopher Stone, President – Albany Engineered Composites, joined the company in 2024. He brings a deep knowledge of the A&D industry, and considerable broad experiences to his new role. He has held a wide range of leadership positions at public companies, with a focus in manufacturing and supply chain management, business operations, production control, logistics and organizational transformation. Most recently he served as Vice President & Chief Supply Chain Officer at Lockheed Martin Corporation from 2021 to 2024. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, he was Vice President – Supply Chain & Material Management at Aerojet Rocketdyne from 2018 to 2021, and previously held various management positions at Textron companies, including Textron Marine & Land System and Bell Helicopter from 2005 to 2018. He is a former Aviation Officer with the United States Army with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Gonzaga University and an MBA from Rice University. Age 52.

    Sean Valashinas joined the company in 2025 and brings more than 30 years of progressive finance leadership experience across global, diversified manufacturing organizations. Throughout his career, Sean has led complex financial operations, driven organizational transformation, and delivered sustainable efficiencies in both public and private equity-owned environments. Prior to joining Albany International, Sean served as Vice President of Accounting, Treasury, and Tax at Resonetics, where he enhanced financial rigor and scalability to support enterprise growth. Previously, he spent 17 years at Standex International Corporation, where he held roles of Chief Accounting Officer, Assistant Treasurer, and Vice President of Finance for the Standex Engineering Technologies Group, a leader in metal forming solutions for the aerospace and defense industries. In these roles, Sean partnered closely with operations teams to support complex manufacturing programs, managed SEC reporting, streamlined financial processes, and played a key role in 18 acquisitions. Sean began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later held leadership positions at The Hershey Company. Sean is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton and an MBA from Boston University. Age 54.
