Company Recognized for Highest Honor for the Third Consecutive Year

Albany International Corp. (“the Company”) (NYSE:AIN) announced today
that it has been recognized by The Procter & Gamble Company (“P&G”) as
an “External Business Partner of the Year” for the third consecutive
year. Only 15 of P&G’s more than 82,000 suppliers and agencies received
this highest honor, which was presented at the October 23 P&G External
Business Partner Recognition Dinner. In addition, the Company received
its fifth consecutive Excellence Award from P&G.
